[ Downloading Music - HELP!!!]

okay. since i'm relatively new to the cyber world, i'm asking all you people for help. and i really really really need/want it. what do you guys all use to download music? and if you think i'm evil and i'm stealing money from artists, well go stuff a goose, cuz all i'm lookin' for is videos and the unreleased stuff. so just bugger off.
now, to those of you willing to help me...tell me what to do! first off, i need a thinger to use to download. ie, Kazaa, Napster, WinMX. whatever. something that WORKS!!! cuz i've tried WinMX and it don't. i'm trying to do Kazaa, but i'm having problems downloading it. and Napster's dead, so... any help at all you guys could give me would be GREATLY appreciated. Hot Tamales and Pepsi to all that email me and give me anything they've got.
now, onto what i'm supposed to be doin' here. Ann told me to tell you that she's freakin' out. i'm on msn with her now and apparently there's a tornado warning at home now - i'm at my grandparent's - and she's freakin'. big time. so i'm tryin' to take her mind off it. i think it's working, but i really can't tell. now she's raving because people aren't dying in the fics she's reading. if you know any good X1999 or Yami no Matsuei fics, tell her about 'em. she'll love ya.

Heya! Just tellin' y'all I'm gonna be out of town for a WHILE. I'm up at Lake of the Woods June 14-18 and at the Montreat 21-29 June. After I get back, I'll do some more serious entries. AAACKK! I haven't updated in FOREVER! But now that the dance recital's over, and I have more spare time than is HEALTHY, I'll update more often! *laughs*

Well, nothin' much is happening...end of the school-year jive. We did NOTHING in Algebra II today...went to the teach's son's track meet. ><;; And these are the smart people of my grade. Oi...

On to more..."entertaining" news... Okay... to make a long story REALLY REALLY short, my mom used to date this guy named Steve "Curly" Kaufman. He's been both my parents' friend for a LONG time. Anyway, he and my mum broke up (as is obvious by her dating Rick) and he kept in contact with me...'cuz he was better friends w/ me than with my mom. And he'd take me out for lunch and stuff every once and a while, etc. Not in a gross dating type of way, either. Just to know how I was. And my mom got PISSED 'cuz she found out about him sending me a Christmas present. Anyway (Katy, you remember this.) So, I wasn't allowed to talk to him. I blocked him from MSN and I don't reply to his personal emails. I do, however, read his joke forwards ('cuz they're actually funny). I forwarded one to my mom and her boyfriend, 'cuz they are funny, and Rick got PISSED 'cuz he saw the name and all. Good, fucking, grief. *screams* So, Rick sent Curly a nasty email, Curly called my dad, my dad reemed me, my mom reemed me, RICK'S gonna reem me. And my week was already turning out bad. And I'm giving out pessimistic advice now! AARGH! WHY CAN'T I HAVE THE PROBLEMS NORMAL HIGH SCHOOLERS HAVE?!? LIKE NOT KNOWING WHO TO FRIGGIN' DATE! (no offense to my friends who have those problems. they're normal. my problems are psychotic...and not as mind-traumatizing as yours. they're more pointlessly stupid, instead.) *Ann takes a moment to collect herself...okay...forty seven point two moments*

Other than that...my day went...crappily. Wonderful, ne? Oh well...I'll be fine. Really. Okay, not fine in the mental department...but y'all knew I wasn't sane to begin with. Oh well. Oi. MAJOR oi. Anywho! I stayed over last night at Katy's house. *crowd blanches and runs away screaming* Hey! *sigh* Should've suspected it! Anyway, I went over at about four-thirty and we went to the five o'clock showing of "Bulletproof Monk". That movie was good. Unrealistic, but good. We went back to Katy's house and Angie came over. We got HYPER. I mean, crazily so. *low whistle* It was freaky. And I brought a camera. We have proof! *achem*

Well, we talked both sets of parents into letting Angie sleep over as well, and we talked about serious stuff until quarter to twelve. We never talk about serious stuff! Ah, well. I think it was good for us. I got to talk about my serious "love" issues, and Angie got to tell us all the warped stories about places she's lived. *low whistle* Shiznit, I would NOT wanna be her.

Angie got sick and went home around three in the morning. So, it was just me'n'K-g again. Well, we got up at eight (because I'm freaky and like getting up early when there's no school). We sat down and actually got to work on Twilight Rein. I mean, we had the characters and basic plot down, but we wrote fourteen full pages of it! Prologue (Jason's warped thoughts), and the first chapter (introducing characters, some insight into their pasts, and all-around weirdness...the rest won't be like that. they'll actually have missions). Then we went to "Anger Management". I haven't been to that many movies in a row since...uhm...Titanic. O.o So...I've been to a BUNCH of movies lately. Shanghai Knights, the Cowboy Bebop Movie, Bringing Down the House, Anger Management, and Bulletproof Monk. All in about a month. Wow.

Well, then I went home. End of story...><;; We spent the WHOLE DAY typing. Our chapters to come won't be that long, as we'll only have about five hours to type them, rather than...seven. Okay, they'll be ALMOST as long. Or perhaps as long. Ah, screw it. They'll be however long we WANT them to be. Now we just have to coax the folks into letting Katy come over every Thursday so we can type this. I'm sure we probably can, it's just that I don't like asking...><;; I'm NOT a wuss, what ARE you talking about, Mitchell? Oh dear...now I've started it, too. Molly, darn you! *achem*

I found all of Yami on eBay for thirteen dollars. Now...I gotta ask for an "Easter Gift". Oi...I mean, it's an AWESOME series. II: the high priestess: Hinoto

definition: The High Priestess symbolizes a high, spiritual wisdom. character: Hinoto is definitely the High Priestess. She (both sides of her) knows the truths and mysteries of the world, and influences both the Dragons of the Heavens and the Earth to the end of the world. Through her own dream seering and then through her sister spying into those dreams, Hinoto is the one that truly initiates.

Hinoto is represented by the Tarot card The High Priestess. The High Piestess represents the feminine side and the unconscious, silence, and the "hidden parts of the mind". It's astrological association is the moon, the symbol of the lunar goddess. The moon is the symbol of growth (new moon), fullfillment (full moon), and decline (new moon).

Character - Hinoto

Hinoto-hime is the blind, deaf, mute, and telepathic dreamseer and that lives under the Diet Building in Tokyo (or, if you're watching the anime, 'Hey, it's that building! In Tokyo!'). She sees the future and tells politicians about it. She pretty much started the whole mess, what with her spooky dreams filled with death and gore and Kamui and gears and swords and FEATHERS, can't forget the FEATHERS...

Analysis - Pretty good call; what else would she be? The High Priestess is the feminine retort to The Magician, which means you have a lot of the traditionally female magical traits like mysteriousness, intuition, shades of grey between right and wrong, and the subconscious mind. Hinoto is something of a mystery to other characters (lately, especially), so, all in all, she makes an excellent High Priestess. Not much to add. CLAMP gets points for the inclusion of water, though having Hinoto standing in it always makes me blink.
